MOM & DAD Cruise 2006

Mom and Dad went on a cruise to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving, and I finally got a few pictures! They are pretty self-explanatory and I wish I had more to post, but here they are and enjoy them!

Animals, Animals, Everywhere, and Christmas!

Erin got a new dog recently its name is Sophi! It is so weird and playful. Dottie warmed up to the puppy quickly. They chased each other around the house and played. When it came time for Erin and Sophi to go home, Dottie cried, and cried, for the rest of the night. We also have been getting the house ready for Christmas. I could not get a good picture of the lights outside but here is the inside. We do not have a fireplace so I made one out of Construction paper and it works great. Not much for heat but looks good. Dottie the Dog and Xerxes the cat got in to the fun as well! I will leave you with a picture that epitomizes the Christmas spirit! Love can be found in the strangest places! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Sept 2006 Trip to Florida

We recently took a trip to Florida to visit Mom and Dad and see their new place. Their place was completely incredible, and I did not want to leave. We Spent a great deal of time in their communities huge pool. The community is so big that people drive around in golf carts and Mom and Dad are no exception. They have the Mercedes of Golf Carts while everyone else are driving Pintos!

I also had the opportunity to spend some time with Dad and Grandpa at the Marion Market wheeling and dealing with the coins. I had a great time doing this. I miss the business a great deal!

Of course Grandpa took every opportunity to just kick back and "relax"! HAHA! Kourtney and I will look forward to going back again once the baby is born and enjoying the pool and sun!

Our First Letterboxing Experience

Today Kourtney and I went out to the West Woods Park and went on a scavenger hunt for our first letterbox. We found clues for its location on the internet and trapsed around the park until we found it! It was a long hike but well worth it and full of excitement. Our dog Dottie came with us for her first adventure into the woods. We walked and came across many intersting things in the park. There were bridges, Caves, and incredible rock formations. We found the letterbox under the boardwalk were I am standing. This is the letterbox! Inside it has a notepad and a pen which we could write our names and the date that we found the letterbox. Some people seem to use stamps... we will have to get one in the future. Stay tuned for more Kelner adventures!

Dottie the Spoiled Dog

Dottie is our one and a half year old Toy Rat Terrier. She is hell on four feet and demands attention every moment of the day. She is so cute she gets it! We have had her since she was three months old and we could not live without her. She likes to ride in the car but she throws-up everytime, so taking her places requires medication and paper towels. She goes to her mother when she wants loved and to me when she is frightened and needs protection. Xerxes or Zerk the cat is Dottie's new best friend. They run and chase each other around the house and sleep side by side. Dottie has a nice shirt she sometimes wears outside in the winter and at other times she eats it.

My Parents New House In Florida

So my parents (Mark and Ann) have sent pictures of their new house. They Live in Lady Lake Florida now and seem to really be taking to the lifestyle. Dad got a new set of Wheels, while Mom is loving the new inside decor and wondering what new furniture to buy!

Honeymoon 2005

The most important person in my life is my wife Kourtney! So I need to make sure she is on this blog first! She Rocks! Our Honeymoon was an incredible Royal Caribbean cruise adventure. We explored Haiti and its frightening flea markets, Jamaica and their soldiers with Kalashnikov rifles (They guarded the shopping areas), Cayman Islands and their sea turtle breeding program, and finally Mexico and its ancient Mayan ruins which we rode horses through the jungle to be able to see.The ship was a city that floated on the water. It had everything a person could ever want: gym, restaurants, an internal main street with shops and bars, and many different pools and hot tubs. I could go on and on about the boat and its size will overwhelm anyone as they get up close.
